I can't seem to get my twitter to work with my LJ!!!

I know I have not been around much on LJ. I will still be reading but will only be posting on my blog spot. Also new photos posted on my biz journal. I did a maternity shoot that turned out wonderful!

I packed up the kids and took them with me to go shooting this morning. I bribed Mellissa and James with some play time on the beach. Matthew just wanted to sit in the car with Isaac and listen to music. I don't blame him since I did not give him a chance to wake up when I told him I wanted to go out :-)

After getting the kids off to school I took a drive to the beach. I have been waiting for a day like this to get out and shoot. I am sure glad it waited for me to feel better from being sick.

I have not shot in fog like this before so am still learning. If any photo friends know a great way to shoot in fog let me know. My photos are showing tons of noise. They still look cool....but not sure how well they would print big.

Lots has been going on since my last post. But I will write about that later. I did something drastic that I wanted to show you.

I got bangs!




I can't believe I am even showing a photo of myself. I the one who is always behind the camera and never in front of it. But I love love love my new hair. The reason I got it cut like this was not because I wanted to but because I had to. I have always lost lots of hair after having each child and it always came back. But with Isaac it was way more drastic! I have started to get bald spots by my hair line. I will not even go out of the house with out wearing a headband to cover it up. Most of you who know me know that I wear my hair away from my face. So loosing my hair in the front is a big deal!

I was afraid I was going to hate it and just have to suffer till I could grow them out again. But I love them!!! I think I will keep them :-) I think they make me look younger which is good considering I will be 38 this month.

I started Isaac in rice cereal last night. He has been showings signs of wanting to eat for a while now. He did a good job for a first timer :-)

He also has a new friend that holds his attention quite well. This was one of many beanie babies my mom gave me before Mellissa was born. They are not worth anything since the kids decided to tear off all the tags one day. So now they are friends of Issac who has become quite fond of them. They are perfect for his little hands to play with and his gums to chomp on.

Our church had a Fall Festival party on Saturday. The kids and adults had a blast! Poor Isaac would not sleep with all that was going on. I think he was afraid he would miss something. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.

The kids had today off from school. So I left a happy well fed baby with Matthew and took off to the beach with Mellissa and James. The tide was pretty far out this morning so there where lots of little holes from clams just at the water line. The kids did not want to go in the water much because of it. Most of the time they ran back and forth on the beach. The cool thing was that it was "cruising the coast" day. So as we were playing on the beach we watched many very cool cars drive by. Also took more photos of Isaac yesterday.

I have been having fun working for ChaCha! I wish I could get more time to do it though. Hard to do searches and answer questions fast when you are holding a baby all the time. He is going through a needy stage right now.

A: You want to woo the person you want to lay! Take a moonlight canoe ride. Be safe (wear life preservers, just in case)! ChaCha!


Q: What's the log throwing contest in the highland games?

A: Guys in kilts throwing huge telephone pole-sized logs. I wonder if they wear anything under that kilt? ChaCha later!

My oldest is now a man of God! On Sunday Matthew was baptized! Since someone forgot to fill the baptistery we went to the beach. I wish I had the pleasure of being baptized in the ocean! Maybe I will do it again just for the experience.

I have been looking for other ways to make money while still being a stay at home mom. It will take a while to really get my name out there for my photography. A few days ago I found a company called ChaCha. I had never heard of them before. I did some research first to make sure they where legit. Turns out they have been on many shows and in articles about how great they are.

How it works is people call or text ChaCha with questions they have about anything. It is free for them to do so. I get paid to answer their question they receive via text. I have been having so much fun doing this! Sometimes it can be pretty hard if I can not find an answer. The first day I was really slow at getting the answers. But now I am getting faster and faster. On average someone can make about $9/hour once they get the hang of finding the answers. I know it is not much...but it will be a way for me to help pay off our dept and to also sock some money away.

Another day at the beach. I would go everyday if the kids did not have school during the week. I think they need to make summer vacation this time of year instead of when it is so hot!
